Student Visa Requirements to study in USA from Nepal

The following steps are involved in the university application process:

  4. Submitting the language test results (Could be official or unofficial depending on the University you are applying to)

  6. Essay/SoP submission (Some universities have specific requirements)

  8. Couriering your documents if the university needs it.

Visa Application Process

  1. Receive your I-20 along with your SEVIS number.
  2. Complete the DS 160 form.
  3. Pay the $160 interview fee at Nepal Investment Bank.
  4. Book an appointment with the US Embassy for the visa interview.
  5. Pay the $350 SEVIS fee at Nepal Investment Bank or any other bank.
  6. Bring your passport, I-20, original academic transcripts, SEVIS and DS 160 receipt to the interview.
  7. Prepare for the Interview

Congratulations if you receive your visa; if not, reapply using the DS 160 form. (You do not have to pay for your SEVIS again because it is valid for one year.)
